I have a JDM dc2 cluster and theres this (O) on the cluster. I was wondering what that was. I know it represents the brake in USDM. In japan what does that picture mean?? also the little cat w/ flame on it. I think thats what it is. What does that do also?

 

i believe that's just the symbol used to represent the hand brake. simple as that.
as for the "little cat w/ flame on it" ... i have no i idea what you're talking about.

 

(O) is the E-brake if you think about "( )" are the drums that push out. The other i don't know but it's probably a sensor that only exist in the JDM.

Yeah the (o) is the e-brake light..which also comes on if the brake fluid is low, and the cat with the vapour lines above it is exactly that...a cat light...it comes on if the cat overheats and/or the sensor is faulty
