i have a stock 1991 integra gs. i bought a jdm type-r header to put on i have the rest of my exhaust at 2 1/2. it looks like the header is goin to hit the support bar and the oil pan as well.. i have not put it on yet because it doesnt look like it is goin to fit.. anyone know what mods i have to do if any?.. and does anyone have any tips?

 

Why would you buy a header and nto knwo if it's gonna fit or not?

Not very smart.

I've read where the only difference between the GSR and LS header is the length, thats it. They bolt up the same. I read nothing on anything hitting, but that was with the GSr header.

 

well i didn't exactly buy it, i won it in a bet.

 

i think he means the old school ls b18a has a diffrent style oil pan is wonderin will a 98 up ITR header clear that wit out swaping to a new style oil pan.plus the support bar runing from the crossmember to the rear could he just take that off???

with that support bar comming back off the frame and the oil pan it really doesnt look like its goin to fit..

 

you have to either notch your crossmember(i do not recomend) or get a aftermarket crossmember such as full race, etc.

 

what about oil pan?

well what would fit most headers are made to be compatable wit the new style oil pan?....is there even a issiu wit the oil pan no1 has really said
