How hard is it to install the JDM OEM Side Markers? I am looking to buy a set and want to install myself. How long does it take, what's required and basically how hard is it? Thanks..

its pretty hard, if u don t have the cutting tools. the jdm is not like the aftermarket (round) it is longer so u have to have a dremel tool, to cut . its not hard u got to match it up. good luck

 

I didn't know the JDM ones were longer... maybe some aftermarket ones that look similar would be easier? I will have to look into it, I don't wanna ruin a fender

 

yea, lining them up might be a pain, as well as the cutting. if you want authentic sidemarkers, just buy JDM fenders w/ sidemarkers. search and you'll come across a good deal somewhere.

 

 

yah im about to do mine, and the whole is almost 2 inched long, we put some generic ones on my moms rover that where similiar and we only had to cut a 1/2 inch whole!...-Roger

 

does any one know were I cant get the jdm hardness for the markers...??
