intermitted code 16
OK so heres the deal. I bought a 92 integra with a built head. I got it with no key, motor not bolted up and never been started.
what was written on computer
b18a1 head
crower 62404s
titanium retainers, dual valve springs
skunk 2 intake (cant verify but not stock)
edelbrock 65mm trottle body
adj. cam gears
venom injectors
clean as a whistle inside..
b18b1 block w/ gsr heads (havent verified)
s1 tranny (know nothing about)
Code 16 pops up (check engine light) I turn car off and wiggle 2 and 3 injector clips ever so slightly. code goes away for a day or so. all injectors have 13 ohm resistance. Today it did it again and this time I turned it off and gave it a few seconds and started it again w/ no code. so its not the injectors or clips? maybe? I have noticed this happens either at hard shifts or after 30-40 mins easy driving. I have read that these computers dont have many problems but thats what I am leaning towards. What do the experts think.
Another seperate issue is i cant advance ignition timing past 16 deg. maxed out on turning room on the dizzy.
dont flame me but I have advanced cam intake and exhaust 1 deg. Been playing with this. Noob to handa but semi good mecanic skills with full shop access.
any help would be appreciated.

wow. thought someone out there would have run accross this before.
It did it on the way home today. cut it off for a sec. start it back u and its fine for a coule of miles. It doesnt act up until the engine is hot.

inside the #2 and #3 injector clips the metal prongs were slightly bent but fixed that.. I do have some clips on the way and will try that.
How can I know if the injectors are right? He wrote Venom 260cc on the ECU but again cant verify. I will search some info on these injectors.
I will try to find some to test with.

I do have thoughts of turbo so bigger injectors might be in the future. shoot for 350hp.
Once I get the bugs worked out I'll pull her in the paint booth and slap some electric pearl blue on it.
I have few posts but have logged hundreds of hours of reading. Lots of info on here.
