So I have a 97' gsr and it has the shitty tan interior and not to mention cloth fronts and leather rears haha. I was wanting some info on the seat swaps possible in the rear and some pictures of custom interiors(from the floor up). Its a mean little car and runs like a beast so i just wanna do the right thing and get her looking like a dime.
Don't give me that its already in another thread either, you don't want to be helpful don't waste my time.

 

I'm in the minority but I actually like the tan interior. I swapped leather RSX seats in to mine, and while the color doesn't match perfectly, they still look good (when not ripped up) and are comfortable. There's a few rips in the seats but I got them for $60 on craigslist so I won't complain too much.

The picture is right after I swapped them in and before I had the chance to reupholster the arm rest or patch the airbag holes. I also swapped the entire leather cover on the driver side with a mint condition one so the only rips now are on the seat bottom.

I don't mind the tan just won't match up with the color scheme I'm going for in the end, I've been looking at the RSX front seat swap opposed to ITR up front. How easy was your swap, straight swap or some mods to the rails? I can't seem to find a straight answer.

 

Here is an album of pictures. Installation was a pain in the *** and I'm going to have to redo all the mounts since I don't feel comfortable with the idea of getting in a wreck with my head touching the roof. IMO if you are going with a dark interior, black or red ITR Recaros are the way to go.

Yeah, I also love the tan interior personally. I have a black DC4 with a tan interior, and I love it.
