Is there any way to know the model of the car by the vin?
Or can you tell if the engine is v-tec just by looking?

I think that the c is vtec and the b is not, Is that correct?

 

Yes, b18a and b18b are both dohc non-vtec's. In USDM integra's B18C1\B18C5 are vtec's and for JDM the GSR\Type-R are both B18C.
