Well i let my brother in law drive my car yesterday and it's his first time driving manual and he stalled it a few times. After around 3 or 4 stalls the car would not start up. It would crank fine but just would not start. After abour four attempts to get the car started it would start up again. This happend three times yesterday. The car is running fine right now. It doesnt stall at lights or while driving only. The only problem with the car is it wont start after it stalls sometimes. I want to catch the problem before it becomes a big problem. I replaced the fuel filter back in september. I know the air filter needs to be changed. What else may be the cause of this?

 

I would never let someone drive a stick of mine for the first time.

By not starting, are you talking like a few seconds? or like 2 mins?

It may not be a problem at all. It could be flooded with fuel b/c if stalled.

 

Well it doesnt start for maybe a minute or so. The problem is it has to crank for a while before it starts up.

 

it may be the main relay going bad.
