that would be dumb thhose remotes are worth like 2$ its the interior system and wireing is what its all about.. my 98 gsr didnt have keyless entry and neither did my buddys 99ls

i didnt get any remote. for my 2001 gsr. but bought mine with a viper alarm.

dealer option, dont hate cuz its oem

iirc not all came standard with them. just look under the driver seat. thats where my "brain" is

I am guessing something simalar looking to an ECU.
The ECU is the brain for your motor right, well it would make sense that it would be something along the same lines right?

&lt;--2000 GSR no OEM remote, but an alarm with keyless entry

98 GSR no OEM Alarm or anything like that, but I have aftermarket compustar one now

And by brain he his talking about a box or something of that sort that controls the locking and unlocking features. I am not sure where it is, but if he said under the drivers seat I would believe him . Just look under there to see if you can see anything.

my '01 gs-r came with it...

I no longer use it because of aftermarket security.
