Hey fellow TA's im just gonna get to the questions:

1. I want to take off my spoiler (gsr) and I read a post about a membr buying a Honda part to plg the holes . I have went to Homedepot and Sears to search for the plugs but no luck. Whats the part number or the exact name of the plug you guys use? (what store and what dept.)

2. I want to install my straight pipe along with my header. How do I go about running "open header" I basically want to install the pipe and header with no piping beyond that.(header - straight pipe - open)

Thanks to those who answer my questions im kind of in a rush to install these parts considering tommrows my only dayoff.

 

I removed my spoiler too and was wondering the same thing, hope someone can enlighten us? mine are probably different though (1991 teg). I was just going to use some tape to keep out the water until I can get them shaved.
as for the open header, I hope you like it loud.

 

You should consider using a 45 degree turn-down tip on the end of the exhaust pipe. It'll keep the noise levels down a bit. A lot of race facilities and sanctioned events have sound level limits.

To mount the pipe to the header collector, you can either cut the flange off the header and weld the exhaust pipe on, or you can use a universal 2-bolt flange and have the pipe flared to be able to bolt it on and off.

 

bump thanks for the info really didnt understand the comment on the tip facing down on the exhaust..i just want to know how to run the open header without throwing a cel code..
