ok so i have a question and i cant figure it out.. ok so i was droving n hit a dip, im guessing when that happen it cut the positive terminal wire to the battery, it contacted the engine bay wheel well and the car cut off.. i didnt kno of the problem to after.. so i try n start it n it my ground wire from the motor to the body catches on fire..

yada yada.. know wen i try and drive the car,, it lacks power and when i turn on my headlights the car wants to die.. sumtimes even when my lighs arent on,,, my corner lights are on? itll die wen i drive it for a while,, and sumtimes the lights wont work or cut off. and when i drive the car sputters and shuts off.. the radio will turn off and turn back on, and my dash lights dim and the both blinker lighs on the cluster stay on but dim..

DOES anyone know what it could be.. if you need more info i will provide but i need to know if anyone can help me.. thanks

 

Alternator?

 

Check/redo your main grounds, [batt., batt. to chassis and chassis to engine] do not just eyeball the connections, redo them.

Do the same with the main powers, [batt., batt. to starter, batt, to engine bay fuse box and the main fuses, [again, do not just eyeball the connectionsm remove/clean/reconnect] 94

 

yea cuz that ground wire to the body to the motor caught on fire and i never replaced it..
