Default Integra Hood

Hey guys, I have been a member of this forum for years and usually dont post because the search answers all my questions. However, I did search and called the acura dealership for answers to my question.

I have a 96 Integra Hood(from an RS) will it fit on any integra(94-01,2 door or 4 door). From my understanding that all the hoods in that gen are interchangable. And only the bumper and headlights differ from 98-01. Thanks guys.

Thanks..But when I called Acura in Van Nuys, CA, the guy said that the RS has a different part number for the hood. He said they MUST be different if they have a different part number.

The reason I am asking is because I'm selling my 96 Hood (did a JDM front) and one of my buyer was mislead.

The hoods are the same. The only reason that I could think of why it would have a different part number is because of the stickers on the bottom side of the hood. The RS typically doesn't come with ABS or AC.

I honestly cant say I know for sure if they are all the same.

BUT typically companies will assign the exact same part different part numbers if they go on different applications. Such as to keep track of stock/inventory/expenditures.

such as if you have a hood for a 95 GSR and a hood for a 94 RS and they are the exact same dimensions everywhere, they could very easily be different part numbers just because they came with different models.
