integra flywheels--- is there a difference?
ok, i've come to the conclusion that i don't have the money for a light weight flywheel to slap on when i do my clutch in a matter of days. but i do have a chance to pick up gsr flywheel.
so my question is, is there a difference between flywheels? i know type r ones are different but how about this gsr that i can pick up compared to my stock ls one.

You're a regular genius aren't you?
Unless the gsr flywheel is already prepped for a clutch, just get your stock one done.

the only reason why i ask is because of the whole aspect of time. i plan to do my clutch sometime next week and there's a shop that the owner is cool with me and says he'll resurface my flywheel for free but his only there on the weekdays. if i end up doing over the weekend then i'll either have to wait or take it somewhere and then they'll take like a day or two to do it, so no matter what i'll have to wait.
i found this type r flywheel on ebay, i think it's the only one on there for ten bucks. with the 17 dollar shipping fee, would it be worth it? my transmission is going to hell so i got a b17 transmission and ordered a stage one exedy off of here, if anyone wants to know.

It would be best to get the flywheel that you want now. It is a lot of work to pull the transmission.
You could resurface the GSR flywheel so that you can have a faster turn-around.

that's what i'm debating on right now. so pretty much stock for stock the only difference in b series flywheels is the type r one and everything else is the same?

i would recommend jus save for like a month and go ahead and get a new flyeheel then have them both installed. u never wanna pay to have work done twice or have to take it off twice urslef, i.e. pulling off the tranny. i kick myself in the *** for not doing it when i put on the clutch cause now i want a flywheel but i dont wanna spend time taking the tranny off.

yes. if you can get a real type r flywheel for $27 shipped then you got a good deal.

should be all the same. Don't quote me on this. The difference that i would see is just that the clutch is changing gears by cable or tranny. I don't think they would change the flywheel just because they change how the car was made to change gears
