Integra DB6 saloon
Hullo forum members,I have a 1996 Integra DB6 saloon with ZC motor and auto box. The problem that I have is a persistant battery drain which flattens
the battery over a 3 day period-or the between times that I use the car. This occurs with a brand new battery also so the problem is reasonably serious.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be? I would like to hear from anyone with some clues. Thanks.

You need to research how to do a leak down test. Using a multimeter in the milli-amps setting, you can measure the draw of certain circuits, with the car off. In the factory service manual, there will be a list of of certain circuits and what their acceptable draw limits are. The easiest and first things to do are to load test the battery (after topping it off with a trickle charger), test your running voltage at idle and 3000-4000 rpms (to confirm the battery is charging properly) and then test the main draw at the terminals (with car off and ignition key switch in off position, remove one terminal and test amp draw across, then compare to factory spec). After you check these things, you can start pulling fuses, one at a time and measuring the draw across that particular circuit....
