Anyone know where to get a stock catalytic converter for a '97 LS fourdoor so I can pass smog.....................please help!!!.................

How soon do you need it?

The dealer, any Acura automotive site, or even go to a local shop and get a universal cat. They run about $75-100 for those and maybe $15-20 to put on.

 

dealer says $500 bucks. Also, can't seem to find a place with one in stock. everyone has a listing or a part number, but nothing "in stock". I will need it within a week and a half at the latest. I need one because I hollowed mine out like a dumbass. thanks

 

Go to a muffler shop and buy a carsound cat. They're smog legal at least for the first year. Cost about $125 for the cat and installation.

 

my cat has the O2 sensor on the outlet. Will a muffler shop weld a bung on for the sensor on an aftermarket cat?

 

yeah...they can do that. Muffler shops can do almost anything concerning airflow bolt ons
