Default Are integra Alternators model specific.

So are there any differences in integra alternators like the type-R, gs-r, ls, etc.

Cause I am thinking about goingto the junkyard to get a new alternator.

Thanks

Yes I had this issue with my DC2 like three months ago, you have to buy the right one, I had bought a obd1 DA dist. but the brown plug was different then my obd1 DC they look identical but the plug sizes vary from app to app. It is very hard to eyeball. Just if you go to the junkyard pull one off of you model teg.

The differences are in the years not the models. 94-95 is obd1, 96-99 obd2a, 00-01 obd2b.
