intake project...
i was thinking of keeping the factory intake hose with a tornado and a good air filter...has anyone thought of doing this project yet...any good or should i just stick to buying aftermarket intake ..?
from what ive read on this board, (not from personal experience) those tornado things make about as much sense as Elton John thumbing through a Hustler magazine. For bigger 6 and 8 cylinder engines the can make a small difference, but all they do for our integras is act as another air restriction.
Buy an intake from ebay and put a K&N filter on it

Buy an aftermarket intake. Try to get a Cold Air Intake (CAI) if you can. The short ram intakes don't really do anything, they just sound "cooler." For the same effect as a short ram intake, you can just remove your intake box and put on a cone filter on the end of your tube.
Tornado does NOTHING.
Tornado does NOTHING.
