Intake Manifold Performance?

Intake Manifold
Hey guys I need some help, I just talked to a guy he told me that I shouldn't bother putting a skunk 2 intake manifold on my B18B1 because I have no head work or anyother mods done. He said I would loose lots of bottomend. Is this true??

if you plan on doing lots of mods then yea its worth it ... i definately benifiting from mine .. but im heavily mod'd... dunno ull have to ask others that experiemented with it on a near stock motor
