Check engine light came on few days ago so i turned the key off and back on and it was gone. It did the same thing today and yesterday, so i jumped the harness and my ligt flash once (code 10) i checked the resistance on the sensor and it was jumping around from 9 to 13, the key was in but the engine was off and no acc. The books says resistance should measure 1-4 so do you guys think the sensor is bad?

i would say yes, if the spec is 1 (cold)- 4 (hot), and its more than twice the resistance when cold, its probably even higher when engine is running.

 

1-4 is the same for obd0 and obd1? cause the instructions were for a obd0 car

 

hmm now it stays off until i rev it up and hit vtec
