Default Intake

I have a 96 ls stock and i wanna get an intake, i was looking at an injen and aem intake, but i'm not sure whether i should get a cold air or a short ram intake system.

if you want the AEM go for it...otherwise you could just make your own CAI just do a search for it

A friend of mine has a 95 Ls with an AEM CAI. I used to have an AEM CAI in my old Civic. We felt a very noticeable difference.

I've heard the short ram intake doesn't make much of a difference.

Is there really that much difference between a cold air and a short ram system. And a difference between the brand name intake and the generic ones. They all use the same aluminum piping so what's so special bout a brand named one?
