---- Installing JDM Front end... having problems
I am in the process of installing my DC2R conversion and I have no way to mount the bumper. It looks like I'm missing the bumper support or reinforcement bar. Can anyone post a picture of this bar and/or a picture of your front end without the bumper installed? thanks guys.
also, can anyone post a pic of how they welded the top half of the radiator support to your oem usdm radiator support? I drilled out the welds on the top of the old one, removed it, and replace it with the JDM piece. HOwever, I want to see some pictures to make sure I have everything lined up before I lay my beads of weld. It's just tacked in place for the time being.

ok, i need to clarify and get some pictures.
i'm installing a mugen bumper.
i have the top half of a jdm itr radiator support welded to the bottom half of a usdm support.
can anyone show some pictures of how everything attaches? i'd be interested to see some pictures of your car without the front bumper cover if at all possible.
thank you

not to thread jack- but I'll be doing the same thing in a week so...
Can you just weld the whole support on the car, or do you have to cut and paste?

you can use the entire support. i would have if i had it but many say it's a waste of time. it is, i guess if you're pressed for time, but it's harder to weld (for me it was at least) the thinner radiator support's metal than it would have been to weld to the frame.

I forgot to add, I know that there is a front bumper suppiort, it's pretty much a square tube, but is rather small in all reality. I don't think they drive fast enough on the street to really merit a larger bar. like we have here in the states. As far as using an aftermarket cover- I would think that you would have to use some sort of additional support, maybe on the lower portion of the cover.
ok, does anyone have pictures of the point where the headlight support meets the new radiator support? i actually have to weld the headlight "baskets" to te new rad support since mine didn't have it cut....

You will also need a 90-93 Integra hood release cable, the USDM 94-01 wont reach around since the placement of the latch is different.

i have trouble seeing the welds on the light baskets. do they over lap or what? i remember on the diy, you have to cut the jdm light basket longer and have them overlap. but i cant pciture it. i plan on doing the conversion myself also. just need to do the research.

at first they over lap, then you trim them so that they are pretty much flush, then weld.
