installing cams
what would i have to do in order to install skunk 2 cams and what size feeler gauge would i have to use??? i'm just looking for a step by step scenerio that shows or explains exacly what i would have to do please help me out with this one!!!1
First what engine do you have?
Get the helms manual to tell you what adjustment you need for the valves.
Then get some assembly lube.
Now its just a matter of undoing bolts and removing the old ones then sticking the new ones in with the motor at TDC and everything lining up.
If your engine has done a few ks then you might not even need to adjust the valve lash because it will be lose already, as mine was but with in spec for my engine.

x2 your cam card will have clearance specs. if you buy used skunk will either give them to you or they may have them posted. most performance cams run .006 or .007 intake and .008 exhaust.
