Injen Intake install problem
I bought a used Injen CAI for the 94-97 GSR off of e-bay a while ago, and when I received it I found out it came without the install instructions. Since its a fairly easy installation I went ahead and did it, however there seems to be something missing.
On the main intake pipe there is a circular protrusion that looks like a hose of some sort should fit over it (It looks similar to this: http://features.evolutionm.net...e.jpg). Could someone explain to me what this connection is for? I've been driving around without any problems but I'd like to be on the safe side.

you put a hose over that, and run the hose to the valvecover where you just clamp it onto the same nipple looking part. If the hose didnt come with the intake, simply go to the closest auto store and buy one, they cost around $1.29 per foot and that should be plenty of hose.
Do you know what that connection is for? If I remember correctly the stock airbox was originally connected to that nipple on the valvecover, but the stock box's hose doesn't fit over the Injen CAI's connector.
