Icon2 inconsistent starts

lately my gsr decides not to start up... it will crank but wont start.. and it doesnt happen all the time it normally only happens on the cold starts but as of lately it has been doing it more often. In order for me to start it i have to pedal the gas so it can start and even then the start up is a bit boggy. has anyone delt with a similar problem that can lead me to a possible solution. i was told it could possibly be a distributor problem but i dont wanna dish out 350 bucks on something that is not gunna be too necesary..

350!!!?

If you need one let me know 150 brand new in the IE

But i would check your relays, cold/hot weather can really effect them. My buddy can spin the car all day and not turn on, but with one little hit to the relay it fires right up.

i checked plugs as well as plug wires and they are all fine.. i had a diagnostic machine check it and it had a code of misfire on piston 2 which could be a lot of things.. one which isnt for a fact is a piston ring for sure.. all 4 pistons are getting proper compression as well... and 150 sounds a lot better than 350 my friend
