Default immobalizer issue

hey freinds i got a 2000 integra GS-R and i pulled the immobalizer off and car runs great..now i wana get rid of check engine light so where can i get a dummy immobilzer chip? looked online and no luck..if anybody knows where i can find one share link or if u know someone i can get in contact with that has them and i can send it out to get installed that be great! thanks freinds!

why dont you think with your brain instead of your wallet. this is whats wrong with america. no more ingenuity. lets think really hard about the cheapest easiest way to get that light to turn off. hmm hmmm hmmm hmmm hmm holy **** i got it lets grab a phillips head screwdriver and take the bezel out then take the damn bulb out of the cluster and put it in the trash...wow that was easy

Wow you're a smart cookie. The CEL is the one light you should leave in. How else will you know if something's wrong with the engine? Wait for it to blow up? How about you use your brain.

okay thats just the wrong way to do things..why not do it right? and also i live in california so SMOG!! pull the light out and automatic fail!!! and he is right how the hell will u ever know if anything is wrong with out the light?

because i took it to honda to get fixed and said it was bad.they tried to flash and key and there computer said error everytime..so when i got home i just riped the immobalizer off to see if the actual ecu is bad and it wasnt..so i either need a new immobalizer to get put on or a dummy chip..whould u be able to help? know where i can get one?

I've never heard of a "dummy chip" for an immobilizer.

well its a (immobalizer replacement board) aka dummy chip..ive looked online and no luck

Run an ECU from a 99 GSR.

You'd have to get an OBD2B-OBD2A conversion harness, but it should work.

As for the dummy chip, I saw a thread about it the other day in this forum. Have you tried searching, OP?
