Default im stumped!

My 92 integra ls is completely stock. The one huge problem I am having is that while I'm driving it will kinda bog down or shut off power to the motor for a few seconds, then keep driving as if nothing happened. But it does this every few seconds. I have replaced fuel pump fuel filter fuel pump relay coolant temp sensor o2 sensor throttle positioning sensor mass air flow sensor map sensor fuel regulator distributor and plugs battery and wires. Please help me figure out what is causing this!

it bogs and shuts off? is it acting like its not getting enough air/fuel or is it just losing all power?

Have you looked into the main relay? It controls your fuel injectors and pump.

It acts like the gas just cuts out for a second. Is the main relay the same one that's under the dash? Controls the fuel pump and spark?

Yeah, the one under the dash.
Hey, my sisters teggy was doing something similar. It ended up being her ground wire going from the battery to the chassis. Cleaned the contacts with a steal brush and sand paper. So far so good, the problem's gone. Been about three weeks now.
Check the grounds!

i know you said you changed the o2 but this sounds like a symptom of that, did you replace with new? any fuel codes?

Redid ground and replaced with new o2 sensor. Only code that its running now is vehicle speed sensor and that is because my speedo cable is unhooked. Could it possibly be the alternator?

I would check all your main power connections, you did the batt. pos.(+), also do the batt. to engine bay fuse box connections and the main fuses, [screw down ones].

The same with all your grounds, batt. neg.(-) is done , did you do the batt. to chassis and chassis to engine grounds, the other 5% may be there.

I would also check the wire harness grounds, both engine and dash harness grounds, there are a few of them. 94

So this evening i:
Checked iacv valve= good
Thermo ground= good
Messed with fuse boxes= good
Tested ecu grounds= good

Another question. When I changed my fuel pump it was very hot when I took it out. Is that normal? if not what would cause that other than it being a bad pump? Also I wired the fuel pump directly to the battery to listen for odd noises. It "idled" funny like the pump rythm went up and down. I know that sounds dumb but that's the best way I know how to explain. So like my post says, I'm still stumped and it sucks because I love my teg to much to wanna give up on it.

try replacing the pump, fuel filter, and pull your injectors out of the fuel rail. Look at the top of the injector(the side that goes into the rail) you can pull out the filter for the injector with a small flat head screwdriver. Replace them too. You can find injector rebuild kits on ebay, or google it. This would be a good upgrade to the complete fuel system. You could spend about $150 to $200 to do this. Replacing the injectors into the fuel rail can be a bit difficult. You need to be very careful not to damage the o-ring that goes into the fuel rail. This would help determine the cause. You can also get a new MFR for $50. Worst case your injectors could also be failing. Play around with it some more don't give up!

depending on the temp of the pump, most of the time electronics that are really hot are the cause of bad grounding. To much direct current.

Seems that you've been chasing your tail quite a bit here and throwing a lot of unnecessary parts at the problem.
So the problem is still the same, correct? Bogs every once in awhile for a few seconds, loss of power?
Have you tried cleaning the iacv? Have you checked ignition timing? I know you said you checked the codes, but you may have cleared them by disconnecting the battery at some point and some codes may take a few cycles to return. So check them again.
Another test you can perform is to install a fuel pressure gauge. When the problem occurs, pay attention to what the gauge is doing. If the needle fluctuates, problem is fuel related, if not, it's more likely a timing issue. This will at least give you direction to further diagnose.
Also, have you checked for vacuum leaks?
These are things you can do, aside from renting a fuel pressure gauge, that are pretty much free

I do not see batt. to chassis ground or chassis to engine ground. 94

does it bog more just sitting or when driving? loose wiring or a loose connection can cause it to be spastic when driving. If it does it just sitting then it could be mechanical. Does it act up more on a hot day, or at a light when it's hot? That can be a bad MFR. You can get a fuel pressure gauge as stated and monitor the pressure while revving it up, that will help trouble shoot the problem and help tune or diagnose future problems. Drive it a while and don't disconnect the battery and see if the codes reappear, document them-tell us. This might be going out on a limb but does anybody else think it might be an injector resistor. You have replaced a lot of parts already but think about it they will stay good and new for a while, more drive time!
