it could be the dizzy, since its an internal coil id bet you its somewhere in there.
are you getting fuel as its cranking? if you get fuel when the key is turned on, but not when your cranking, and your getting no spark, you may have a bad crank sensor.
the only way i know of to test a crank sensor is with an oscilliscope, and i doubt youve got one of those.
and **** you think its cold there? try riding in conneticuit. at least you dont HAVE to put your bike down for the winter.

oh nah man, im really pretty positive that its something in the dizzy... cuz ive had problems wit it, i replaced cap and rotor and it stopped jumping and hesitating, and it started jumping again, hesitating and then just stopped workiin

i'll put $100 on it being the coil, not the distributor...while the coil and ignition module are internal to the distributor, both can be removed, tested, and replaced
if you want the coil tested, you can either do it yourself, or go to your local autozone. either way, all that is required is an ohm meter and the tolerable range for the primary and seconday of the coil.
basically, if the resistance is within those 2 tolerable ranges, the coil is fine. if it goes outside, either lower or above, it is junk. since the coil is based on resistance, this should be pretty obvious.
