ok so here is the deal, just bought a 95 integra rs, with a broken ignition key cylinder, the car was stolen and recovered, the price of a new one from acura is 256, so went to a u pull it yard, only found one for a 98 civic and one for a 94 civic, got both of them, they all really look the same. has anyone delt with this issue or do i man up for the new one,

 

well if any one cares, the 98-00 civic ignition switch works perfect, well used the key cylinder from the civic and electrical part from integra, sucks to have 2 keys but 256 is steep and would still be in the same boat with 2 keys

 

How much did you end up paying for it/saving??

 

ya id rather have the two keys than that price. and who knows it might save your car from getting stolen some day

 

well got it from a u pull it yard for 10 bucks, so i guess u could say save 240, but a new one for a civic is only 79, from honda,
