So for a while now my car was idleing strange out of nowhere....when i would start it the idle would go up to about 3000rpms then drop to 1500 when the engine was cold.....then when it was up to operating temps it would fluctuate from 1500- 2000rpms to 1000rpm....it was driving me crazy and was recomended to put a new ECT ( engine coolant temperature sensor) in. i put that in and it solved everything for about a week....and now it is doing the same damn thing!!! i dont know what to do its driving me crazy....every once in a while when i drive my car it will throw a CEL but will clear when i turn the car on and off.........i have tried reseting my ECU, cleaning the screen on the IACV and now i dont know what to do??????? im running hondata s2000 obd1 pr4 on a b18b turbo. im stumped on what to test for next?? could it be my TBS? maybe my ECT went bad again? faulty IACV??? or what is it?????
