I suck at modding
3 weels down and the car is back to its original condition before the springs
1st things that went wrong
1-Ran out of daytime adn only was able to do one spring
2-Finally ended up doing 2nd spring a week later
3-rear bolts wouldn't come off even after pb blaster...after thinking abouti t said screw it and I'll do this mod when its time to do my shocks
4-Reinstall side 1 no problesm
5-Side 2....kept putting the spring compressor in the wrong place so had to redo that **** like 4 times cuz the cap wouldn't fit properly
6-After that is done attached hte fork back but now a problem...the left side of the fork was a tiny iota higher than the other... which = movement of the bolt...after numberous tries(5 hours at least) wouldn't go up or down. Finally a combination of force using my face, a hammer, and a jack was able to get that thing in place
7-When tighting the nuts on the shock...stripped one one of the nuts no suspension work on this car anymore
So total: 3 weeks down,, car was immobile for 6 days due to being on jack stands or bolts being out. 2 pairs of socks throw out
$30 for a spring compressor, $20 for a new jack, $$$ for springs, $$$ for a camber kit, 1 stripped rear LCA bolt, 1 stripped shock nut...getting owned by rust priceless.
Oh yeah and my brake lines wouldn't fit...so I had to route them my own way and ended up not using one of the bolts on one of the sides...its nice and fit, and is out of the way but still.
I don't think this car is gonna get lowered any time soon hehheh
