Default i/h/e/ question

i have a 00 ls with aem short ram intake dc sports 4-1 header high flow cat
catback sp greddy exhuast.

what is the best mod for me right now to gain more low end power for daily driving

do i need to get more air in maybe like a intake manifold throttle body aem fuel rail.
i mean is this stuff really worth the money everyone says and intake manifold on a ls is just not worth the money you really dont get much low end power off it.

Supercharger. Possibly a good set of cams.

If you want low end power, look into a supercharger or stroker kit.

A stroker kit will increase low end torque (as well as displacement) at the sacrifce of a lower rod/ratio. This will prevent you from reving high (I would stick with stock redline), but if you are only concerned about daily driving this shouldn't be a problem.

You certainly don't need a fuel rail. Just get some cams.

If you get cams, make sure they are either

low end performance -> short duration (how long the valve stays open) and a wide seperation angle (overlap)

or

Mid/High end -> Moderate duration and a wide seperation angle.

NOS... Nice and cheap!

Otherwise, chuck that 4-1 and get a 4-2-1. Then SC or Turbo it. Sure, cams will give a lil' more power.... but they won't provide the torque FI gives.

Whats he going to dial-in, his stock LS cams?!?!? More so, an SAFC wouldn't be worth his trouble either.

Start saving ur money for boost if you want power... period.
