converted to obd1...s300...could this make my car idle high...i am either thinking this or my tps...brand new motor...right when it starts up it idles fine but drive it right down the road then it will start to idle at 3k rpm...what could this be???

 

is it like an up and down idle or just steady at 3000 rpm if it is up and down it is your idle air control unplug your sensor on the back of the IM next to the throttle body not on it. and if it stops it is your idle air control. if it is steady more thatn likely it is a vaccumm leak. if it is a vaccum leak then listen for a hissing noise and follow it, it is quite noticable the hissing noise.
