Default hp gains

hey guys, i jus would want to kno the ~ quarter mile time for an auto LS teg with 172 hp at the fly wheel, and if there are ne performance difference with a cat-back exhaust compared to a universal muffler with full piping, thanx

if the tubing is the same size...and the mufflers are the same (chambered, straight through, dual pass)....then it would be the SAME

most of the time the piping that you have made is not mandel bent. the cat-back piping is. go for the cat-back.

172 flywheel....isn't that for a GSR? and you have that much on an LS.... and you don't have an exhaust...?

heh my auto ls 91 has about 160 fly wheel on my auto and i've done a lot of modification. if u think u have 172 then u better done a lot of engine work.

i have aem cai, aem pulley kit, dc headers, custom exhaust, msd fuel pressure regulator, and new spark plugs w/ wires...but im thinking about getting a cat back, and getting rid of my custom ehaust. even with these mods i dont think i would even break 16s on auto.

Yeah, what exactly is power braking. I saw some people at the track slam the brakes at what appeared to be the last few feet of the 1/4. Whats up w/ that?

Powerbreaking
1. Come to a complete stop
2. Foot on brakes
3. Foot on gas
4. Release Brake and floor the gas

This is done to bring the converter to its stall speed for better launches from the auto tranny
