How to test a/c compressor?
Ok, i'm still having an issue with my A/C system, this has been going on for a while, it is official, I have tested everything, every sensor gone through every flowchart in the maintenance manual, the only thing left to do are test another ECU. But until I can locate a person with a OBD1 ECU that I can stick in there just to see if it kicks on, I would like to try to test the compressor.
Is there any way to just jump everything and run power straight from the battery to the compressor to see if it works and the clutch engages etc? I have pretty much narrowed it down to the compressor, the ecu, or that my system just doesn't have enough refrigerant.
