I'd guess $300 to $350.

Figure about 5 hours of labor at most, and $70 to $75 for a set of OEM Honda valve seals.

 

how do you know your valve seals need to be replaced?

 

Well I just replaced the rings about 2k ago, so Im figuring it cant be those, I broke in the car properly.

 

I was told over $800 by one shop!!!!!!! I say do it yourself or find some one on h-t and pay them to do it for you if you cant do it.

 

over $800.00 ??? they must not know wtf they're doing and it takes them 12 hrs of labor to do valve seals. lol.

Why didn't you replace those when the head was off and you were getting new rings? You should have known!!! Anyway, yeah $300-350 is right, about the price to remove the head.

BTW - you don't have any vids of your car do you?

 

Seals cost me $41. Then you have to get a new head gasket and have the head resurfaced(not required though).
