how much does an integra shell weight?
im interested in buying an integra shell preferrably an older 94-95 model and dropping a motor into it rather than keep workin on my civic cause i like the way the integra looks soo much better than the civic.. so if i was able to find a shell at a junkyard how much do they weight w/ no wheels, suspension, motor, anything??? i dont think it would be more than 1500lbs do you?
i dont think ill be able to find an integra like this but i have seen 2 civics at the junk yard complete shells that were for sale.. im just lookin for way to get it home and **** youknow..

ok.. so stock integra weights say about 2500 lbs - motor and tranny 500 - suspension 150 - seats 100 - wheels 100 = 1750?? i guess thats a little tough to get loaded onto a flat bed truck unless you got lots of freinds.. i would swap out all the suspension and everything if i did find a shell.. **** this wont happen, way too much to get the thing home i think
naw im thinkin the tranny wieighs about 50..the motor about 200-300 seats = alot less then youd think about 50-60 lbs and rims weigh about 15 lbs each =60 lbs all in all im thinkin about 2100-2200 with nothin in it... just takin a wild guess considering they weigh about 2600 lbs stock...HTH!
I am selling this Integra shell with makeshift rolling Civic suspension bolted on. Only problem for you is, I've already got a buyer at 650 so unless you want to make a guilty conscience worth it for me...
