hello im new in here and i was just wondering how to take out the stock tape player on a 94 ls integra and the the wiring scheme i need to install my new cd player. someone plz help im planning on souping this sucker up but i need my tunes!

 

Make sure you get a wiring harness for your car. It'll make things much easier, and if you want to take it back to stock later, it'll make things easier.

To take off stock cd player, you need to remove the ashtray/armrest. It's fairly simple. Take off the armrest first, then keep going untill you can get to the cd player. There are a couple of bolts that are a little hard to get out of the back of the tape deck, make sure you have a small tool that will fit.

hey gs-r i got the arm rest and the lighter part off but how on earth do i get that last part off. the part with the tape player and plastic part.... it attaches to that whole underdash part that goes all the way across the car to the passenger side

 

I have had to put in about 4 stereos in my lifetime so far.

Everytime, I think, why didnt i just pay someone to do this?


most places only want 40-60 bucks. it will save you about 2 hours of your time
