Car is an 99 Integra LS, cars keeps on throwing code 71 72. Goes away after I reset it, but comes back in a day or so. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks..

 

how are u reseting it? pullin the battery cable doest reset the history codes in the ecu! u need to pull the ecu fuse.

 

I pull ecu fuse and the battery

 

those are missfire codes for 1 and 2 cylinders, u need to check the spark plugs

 

I just put in new spark plugs over the weekend, I'm going to check the cap and rotor today as well. I can't find anything on these codes. thanks for the help

 

Download the appropriate Helm manual and you will find plenty. Search google for "hondahookup manuals".

Possibilities:
valve lash
bent valves
low compression in cylinders 1 and 2
fuel injectors
plug wires
cap
rotor
distributor
etc.
