yeah ill give you a for attempting...it doesn't look <U>that</U> bad...plus painting/body work isn't an easy task, but IMO you should've waited and bought a new bumper first then sprayed it....and sprayed the rims black as well thats just my .02

Ok, it is'nt my fault you got your feelings hurt. You should save up your money and get a good paint job. I did my hood a long time ago and it looked like your car , if not better, and people talkes $hit. So i save up for 4 months and i painted my car completely, not the best place but not TJ either.

I'll give ya props for workin with what you have BTW, the first 7 yrs of my life was on a dairy farm and some of the best memories I have are from that time too.

And for the guys who were rather rude..
And even though he asked how does it look... consider his circumstances:

He's just joined: he doesn't KNWO questions liek that lead to smarta$$ remarks.
He's 16.
Probably his first car.
He has no money to get a good paint job (they are expensive)
Did you honestly THINK it would turn out like a pro?

No reason to be mean about it. Show some respect!

im 17 but what looks bad, looks bad. he asked and i let him know. I did my hood and it looked like his car. so now i saved enought money and have my integra at a paint shop. im just saying about the 1st picture he posted. Of course its not gonna be perfect , shoot ill be kinder make the world a better place , every one happy now?

 

congrats on being fearless, ive spray painted my car 3 times. The worst you can do is try. if the worst you do it learn by doing, i cant fault you. most will hate on you. but i know where your coming from. so many people pay to have there work done, but what do you learn from that? how to reap the benefits of someone elses work? no, you learn nothing. By doing it yourself, wether the masses think it looks perfect doesnt matter. If you learned anything about yourself, gained some self esteem or some courage; all the hate and trouble was worth it. Do what YOU want to YOUR car, dont let Honda-tech dictate your outcome. Hardwork beats talent when talent doesnt work.

 

Props for trying but it looks like something that would roll out the getto. Shouldnt of used a flat or primer (watever it is). Next ime buy a paint gun youll be able to spary a better quality paint. Remember a paint job relies on two things

PREP
QUALITY PAINT

 

I think it looks pretty good for 10 dollars I was thinking of doing this to my friends car...but I would put some more black on to even it out more and then clear coat the crap out of it

 

did you use the round tip if you did you should have bought some tips that shoot flat so you can get a even coat.

 

yeah took the bumper off today to fix it and the bumper reinforcement is completely bent cause the previous owner hit something so i am ordering a new one but thanks

Honda tech is not near as bad as VWVortex. i never thought i would own a honda/acura and now i have a del sol and an integra? lol

ha. Man your gonna learn this site is full of haters and god sends. Half the people will give you amazing information, be a huge help, and you'll no joke always remember they helped you with your car. Then the other half throw a new front bumper on their car, some 15 in rims, amber markers, say its JDM then talk **** when they know they were in your shoes maybe not even a year ago. Just dont listen to the idiots, the mods see them and take note.

The paint DOES look a little uneven. But I saw one guy who sprayed his DA primer black, he also lightly sprayed the sides of his rear lights so the black would fade into the red. There being no spray paint where the light actually lights up to avoid a ticket. And that thing looks sick. I wanted to do that when I wanted to paint my car but I settled down with the weird integra green color. But good job, your past the step of taking chances and you have no where to go but up. I cant wait to see how it progresses.

OP: when you trial status expires, you can post things like this in Appearance and Cosmetic. Bring a thick skin when asking for opinions.
