Laws about airbags?
Well, I'm not sure where to put this but since I have an Integra I thought I'd put it here.
Does anyone know what the laws are about taking out your air bags? Or what do I type to search online? I can't seem to find the right place.
I have an Integra that I put a JDM ITR non-srs steering wheel in. I was writing in one thread and someone said that I would have to take out both air bags to make it legal. I live in VA, so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Re: Laws about airbags?
as far as I know it depends on the vehicle. If it came with Airbags, you're required to have airbags. You can't remove the airbag and keep the car street legal.
However, because you are using an OEM steering wheel I doubt the person checking would know the difference. You can also get and OEM delete tray for the pass side so it looks like it came from the factory and no one will know.
Airbags however are there for your safety. My buddy was in a wreck a few months ago and nearly died cuz he removed his. Broke his sparco wheel all 3 spoks and it went into his chest and caused all sorts of internal bleeding. Luckily he had a 5 or 6 pt Harness on otherwise he'd be dead.

Re: Laws about airbags?
I had a Bride Quick Release in my EK. Never got trouble for it, but I knew the guy doing my inspections, but cops didn't say anything about it.
I'm putting either an SRS JDM ITR, or an RSX wheel in my DC though, just because I like the way it looks =] Where can you get the OEM delete? I was going to get the carbon fiber, but its kind of...eh
