Probably up high, somewhere around 4000rpm I'd imagine would be good. Though I won't speak from experience as I don't have a b16a in my teg. After driving my friends Si (b16a) for a while, my conclusion was (after humiliating myself losing to an accord do to bogging at 3000rpm) b16a have no torque, therefore you've got to launch them high. I'd experiment from 4000-5000. Drop the clutch and feather the gas until you get some traction.
Or you can do as I read once on some board somewhere. One guy was sure "pumping the clutch" worked wonders for him!!

I've got a 94 GSR and the best way I found to launch my car is to rev it to around 5000-5500 rpm and feather the clutch. I only release probably to until 30-40% grip on the clutch, then when my tires grip, I just dump the clutch. If I get too much wheelspin I modulate the gas. I only do this when I'm matched up with cars that will give my car a run for my money as it's gonna eat your clutch quickly. Otherwise I just dump it a 3500.
Practice on the launch. See what works for you.

how many times can you do that on a stock clutch? i would kinda fear for the life of mine. but i am trying to see where the best launching point is..

Well depends on your everyday driving style. Ive done that launch probably around 30 times now. My car has 60k miles and no sign of slippage yet. Besides, when ur stock is done, upgrade for a better one

w a b16A...(si) try to see if u can launch at 6K...slip the clutch...and keep the car in vtec...u get very little wheelspin because of the lack of torque...so launching at high RPMs is necessary
The stock clutch is good. Over 50 runs at the track and hundreds of street races and 60,000 miles later still chirping third. Stock clutch for a basic setup is good, but when u add some boost into the mix then its a different story.

wow, i think i lauch kinda high. i launch @ 5,500 rpm. got wheel spin a little but just enough to keep it in the power band. i do feather the clutch and when there is no mas wheel spin i floor it and dump the clutch. i also use hand brake to stop rolling forward. ( people should use the hand brake to for that reason because i always race people who keep rolling forward right b4 the launch. i think they do this to get a head start on me cause they know i will win) and more more thing practice makes perfect. also **** fast i mean really fast it should help.
I got a set of slicks when i goto the track because we all know that the stock Michelins suck. I heat em up in the burn out box and goto the line....now me I always have a fear of breaking my car at the line so I kinda baby it....but I rev it to 5,500--6,000 and let the clutch out till it's almost grabbing....when the light turns I dump it. It grabs, no wheel hop and semi-nice 60' ft times. But like everybody else said just try different ways and you'll find one you are happy with.
