I decided to do my hood cable relocation today and it went smoothly but I got pretty greedy and decided to do the metal plate to protect the hood latch, but it was getting dark so I put back everything to the way it was and decided to do everything tommrow. When it tried opening the hood again, it didn't open.

Is there anyway to open the hood?

luckily this didn't happen with the metal plate on ....

 

id just try to get a screwdriver in there and see if you cant move the latch. i usually do all my work at night anyway... nothing big, just like installing a new stereo, its just when i work better.

 

Make sure nothing is in the way of the cable. Its a direct line to the hood...put it back the way it was, stock, and try it, it should open. If not, the cable is disconnected or caught on something.
