Hit a curb- quick question
Today i decided to take the 15 mile trip or whatever to the nearest mountain/hill area so i could have fun with fast turns etc. Anyway, there is like noone on these roads, so im taking a turn at like.. 40?, and there are 5 people just standing there on the left side of the road. So being a dumbass, i turned and looked at them for a second, and before i knew it i hit the ******* curb.
i stopped and checked it out, and i took a pretty fat chunk out of my tire, and the wheel lip is pretty fucked up too. I think my front right wheel hit the curb and went up it, and the rear right wheel just slightly hit it.
Anyway, im just wondering, besides cosmetical damage, is there anything else i could have messed up? Is there anything i could have bent or damaged? Shocks/springs etc?
What exactly should i check for? I've never hit any huge potholes and never curbed my wheels, so i'm not really sure what exactly could have been damaged.
Thanks a lot

Yeah, you might be able to feel any slight damage by how the car drives- such as a wobble or something of the sort. You may want to get an alignment depending on hard you hit it and it may be wise to do that just in case.
jack up your car...
in the front:
look to make sure the anchor is still bolted up straight... this the bracket up top in the very back that has two bolts going up into your engine bay, make sure the bracket isnt bent, broken, or torn. Make sure the ball joint is still in tact, while it may be torn as long as its still bolted up, not loose bent or broken, then thats cool. check your A arm, the one closest to you, see if it looks bent out of shape... basically just keep working your way through al the arms and bolts and make sure none are bent, broken or torn... do the same for the rear!
