Default High mileage b18c's?

So i just picked up my new daily driver.
1996 integra gs-r.

Now the car drives awesome, the engines sound's wonderful, but theirs one issue....'

it has 230k miles on the engine. now the car's oil was always done at 4k miles, and mobile syn was used. I was just curious what kind of numbers as far as mileage people have seen on well taken care of b18c1's. And yes i know it varies, but im tlaking about ideal routine mait done all the time.

I wouldn't beat the hell out of it at that mileage. Use it as a nice DD.

If you are really worried, do a compression and leak down test

IM pretty much done with getting on cars hard, ill very rarely even hit vtec in this, it has plenty of power at low. Was just curious what kind of miles people are getting out of these well kept up.

My 95 gsr had 240k on it when i totaled it. I did oil changes every 3500 miles, timing belt changes every 70k miles and the other obvious maintenance, ignition tune up and tranny fluid when reccomended. Im sure i would have gotten more out of it, compression was still 190 all the way across when it was checked at 210k miles.

mileage doesn't mean a lot on a car that was properly maintained....as long as you dont ignore the necessary repairs, it should last a good while

'96 GS-R, 165k on the odo now.

I still beat on it sometimes, but mostly just cruise around. Still get 30mpg though
