No JDM front just the 2001 bumpers and lights. A kit off ebay is like 300 bux, is that a good price? Thanks

I got my HID'S from http://WWW.HIDEXPERT.COM those are denso kit (OEM FOR TOYOTA AND LEXUS) think they have a 9006 series that goes for about 275. But if i were you i wouldn't get anymore then 6000k bulbs. After 6000k you actually start to lose light, unless you just want looks.

might as well stick some blue flashlight bulbs on the front of the car

Isn't it still illegal to sell HID kits in the U.S.?

no it's not, but if your car dosn't come ready equip with it you can only have 4300k hid's to keep it legal.

True, and yes, unless they are for "off-road" use.

dude, if you're gonna pay $300 for rebased 9000k's, spend the extra $50 and retrofit audi projectors and get used 4300k bulbs. Much better output. 9000k is kinda purple and doesn't light up the road as much.

good idea, except for the used bulbs part. I would never ever run used HID bulbs. You have no idea what they have been in and for how long, and you have no idea if the color-shift on each bulb matches.

Always always use brand new HID bulbs, you can get Philips D2S bulbs brand new off eBay for about $80.

Yeh sounds good because ive seen others buy used blubs and the color didnt match on each light, looked horrible.

My bad. I meant new bulbs and used ballasts. That's what I did.

That might be okay, but I still wouldn't recommend it. When it comes to retrofits, the projectors themselves are the only thing I would buy used. Everything else I would want to go with new. Otherwise it's just totally a gamble as to whether the ballasts are going to work or not, how long they will last, etc.
