philips kits use other companys parts.

Catz uses all their own parts I believe.

If you can, Grab some OEM HID's.. Acura, Honda, BMW, Lexus, Audi.. You can't beat OEM!

If youre lucky, you can find some OEM kits for mighty cheap (~300). Id go to a junkyard, and see if you cant find yourself a TL or something, and yank em off

Catz kits are just as good, maybe even better as the bulbs used in the Philips kits are rebased by a machinist. This means that the tolerances are not as close as a factory designed bulb.

See my signature for who to buy from

The price will vary depending on where you get them.. Look on E-bay for them.. usually they come WITH projectors from an audi or bmw or something like that.. On E-Bay you can prolly get them for around 300.. Also if you find them at a junk yard they should not be too much.. around 300 max i would say. Once it warms up I'm taking a trip to the good'ol junk yark to scope out some HID's and anything else of use i can find and use or sell..

I was looking at a acura tl hid kit. Is installing a HID kit
yourself very hard or not? I was getting prices for installation
but its like $100-$200. Thats way too much. I would do it myself
but i dont wanna **** anything up.

Just to let you guys know.

OEM HID kits are pretty cheap.

I got my 2002 Audi A6 HID which includes bulbs, ballasts and the projector for only $375 shipped on ebay. Way cheaper than aftermarket kits and the quality and output is 1000x better

Ignorance

BTW---If you want more information on swapping out your projectors for OEM HID Projectors, check my site out: http://www.skafia.com/hid

the kit that i put on was a McColluch HID kit. 9006 of course for the teg. anyways, the kit was about $400. that's not bad at all. try to look for those cause those, in my opinion, are better than phillips.

You give Texans a bad name with that grammer kid... Bad representing there.. OEM HID does not suck in any way.. It is NOT hard to install and is 100 times better than any of this after market HID bull ****.. not to mention you can get it for much cheaper off of E-Bay.
