Well for starters I haven't really went out and searched for a place to put them, but for the people who have installed hid kits on there tegs where did u put your hid boxes, on the drivers side specifically. I still have power steering and the wires on the kit aren't that long.

 

Depends on which ballasts you buy. I have the slims and I tuck it behind/next to the washer fluid. You would want some scotch or 3M double sided tape to stick it on.

For the regular thick ones, I've seen people do the same thing but it's a little higher than where I put mine.

take your fenders off and mount them to the frame.

also i heard these things were illegal in California on certain cars is this true?

If it did not come with HID from the factory, it is illegal in all 50 regardless of color.

Mostly, the physical differences in the HID bulb in a headlight designed for a 9006/9005 result in light going where it does not belong.. glare, safety for 'the other guy'.

If you want better light - use 9011/9012 bulbs.

If you want different color, there are plenty of choices.
