Default HID Installation

Hi guys I have a few questions regarding HID kits. I'm thinking about buying a kit off or Honda-Tech. My only concern is how hard is it to install, I dont really want to drop $$ on someone else installing the kit for me. I would rather do it myself, so I was wondering if anyone has a detailed "how to". I have a JDM front end conversion so my real concern is are the wires any differnet or what not?
Thanks guys

It is plug and play man. All you have to do is find out where to mount the ballasts.

You'll be fine.

OK but does it depend on the brand?

So there is no cutting or splicing of wires involved?

Say you have a non HID jdm front, could you just get the oem HID ballasts and D2S bulbs? Or do you need an aftermarket hid kit?

If you buy a good set of HID's, the install should take less than 5 minutes. It is as simple as removing the old bulb, plugging in the new ballasts and putting the bulb into the light housing. Personally i have a set of McCollough 6000ks and i love them.

Cool sounds good, my only concern is when they installed the JDM front end i think they might have retro-fited the wiring from USDM to JDM? Not too sure will find out, cause I have a JDM front without HID. That's why I had the question.
Thanks again for the feedback guys.

I also have a JDM front end. First I had the non-HID and put in the Phillips 6000K kit. Parked it next to another JDM w/ OEM HID. Man what a big difference. I end up selling the non HID and getting the OEM HID off of ebay. The OEM Has a bad *** cut off point and you can see much better than the Non HID with the HID kit.
