My antenae on my car stays up all the time now. Even after I shut off the car, it remains upward as if the car's on along with the radio. My car's a 2000 GS-R so I don't know if previous Integras had the motorized antenae that went up and down when you'd turn the car on/off.

I checked all my fuses and they're all fine. I don't know what else to do. Anyone got ideas? I hate it being up all the time.

Cool. Yeah I'm kinda broke right now though. I know there has to be a way to fix it. I don't really want to take it into the dealer. When I press the radio button to turn the radio on/off it makes the clicking sound but it doesn't move up nor down. Aghhhhh I gotta fix it! Anyone else?

 

Yeah. So the only real way is to fix it at the dealer? Damn. Ok I may be able to disconnect the power supply tommorrow behind the liner. May I ask how it could get worse?

 

Good info. Ok I think I may just very well take it into the dealer this week and have them fix it. It's bothering me just knowing that my car's out there with a metal shaft poking way into the sky.

 

Well after 5 years and driving about 40K miles on the highway at 80 MPH my antenna was almost a good quarter circle and always made bad noise going in, and sometimes would stay out about 2 inches. So since I always listen to the radio, and live in fairly populated areas, I just cut the ground pushed it in all the ways and said Bubye to mister antenna. Radio reception is a little weak, especially on the lower wattage channels like say 106.7 (DFW Dance St.)driving though a bunch a buildings.
