Default HELP wierd running issue

This is going to be hard to fully explain but here we go.
The car is a 99 GSR all stock

I was driving the car today normally and i got a cel and nothing came from it for about 10 miles. Then i was sitting at a light on my way home and the car died. turned off and restarted and started right back up. Made it home and tried to jump the clip to check codes and all Im getting is a solid cel light. And yes Im jumping it correctly i have done this many times before with other cars. Then i had a buddy bring a scanner over and it said pcm malfunction so we thought that it was the ecu that went bad. Bought a Ecu From one six that i would say is good and thought the problem would be fixed but after about 5 seconds of running the cel came back on and idled normal and fine for about 30 seconds then it just shut down. The car can be restarted right away and will run for a random amount of time then out of no where just shut off. Sometimes when it is restarted it idles like its possessed anywhere from 3k to 500. if the ignition is left on it sounds like the fuel pump keeps priming over and over instead of just once like normal. Any help would be great because i don't even know where to start with this. I know on obd0 code 0 is bad ecu so that is where i started by going with that and getting a ecu but that didn't fix it.

if you hear the fuel pump stop then it could mean it's cutting off while you're engine is on too... I'm gonna guess it's your main relay... make sure you check fuel pressure first to see if it varies... just check one thing at a time man goodluck

when the cel comes on, without turning the key off, have you jumped the connector then? if you turn the key off, its going to clear most codes that just popped up. make sure uyou leave the key on when that code pops up...

you got it to throw the code, jumped the 2-pin (not the 3-pin) connector, and the cel does nothing different? (just stays on solid?)

yes sir. i jumped the 2 pin blue connector under the glove box. I tried it with the car running and after it would die with the ignition still on. Still getting a solid cel and it will not blink?
