dose it sound like a 2step when you hold the pedel down the whole way to the floor???
my LS did that for a couple of days... i had a few problems..

1) the main fuel relay was shorting out and sometimes it would be fine... so i switched it.
2)the ignighter was bad in the dizzy, but it let the car start and run...
3)the O2 sensor wires pulled out of my harness

so i fixed the O2 sensor first (by putting the wires back in the clip.
then i replaced the ignighter from a single cam dizzy i had laying around
then i finally found a main fuel relay at a junk yard that was obd 1

after that my car ran perfect... you might want to try a few of these and let me kno what happens with it... good luck...
